The Challenge: Basic Sanitation is a Daily Struggle

At Madrasa Umme Salama Lil Banat, 316 orphan and underprivileged girls are dedicated to learning and building a better future through education. But despite their determination, they face a fundamental problem — the absence of clean, safe, and functional toilets on campus.

Without access to proper sanitation, these girls face numerous risks every day:

Health Hazards: Open defecation and poor sanitation lead to infections, diseases, and illnesses, putting their fragile health at constant risk.
Missed Education: Many girls miss school or even drop out entirely because there are not enough toilets for all 316 students. Just imagine the morning rush: long queues waiting for a single toilet, discomfort and frustration building up, and precious class time slipping away. Over time, this repeated absence seriously affects their studies and future opportunities.

Loss of Dignity and Privacy: The lack of toilets strips these girls of their privacy and dignity — a basic human right every child deserves.

This is not just an inconvenience; it’s a barrier that threatens their education, health, and future.

Why Toilets Matter — Beyond Bricks and Cement

Constructing toilets is more than just infrastructure. It’s about giving these girls:

safe and private space  where they feel secure.
The  freedom to attend school regularly  without fear or shame.

Improved  health and hygiene standards that prevent disease.

A step toward  gender equality  and breaking social taboos around sanitation.

By supporting this campaign, you are helping transform their lives — empowering them to stay in school, stay healthy, and pursue their dreams with confidence.

What We Aim to Achieve: The Goal and the Breakdown

We are raising  ₹1,86,120  to build clean, safe toilets that will serve  316 girls initially, with plans to extend facilities to all 316 girls soon.

Transparency is our priority. Every rupee donated will be tracked and a full report shared with all supporters.

No amount is too small — every rupee moves us closer to restoring dignity for these girls.
